Junction 1 of A14 Eastbound around an acre of thick Ragwort.

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown or obscuring view (NH) category anonymously at 11:42, Tuesday 6 August 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6322355.

The ragwort is so thick that it is spreading on to the pasture land and arable land that boarders the east bound junction and carriage way near Portly Ford Farm and is a significant threat to livestock. It needs cutting urgently before it goes to seed and spreads further. This has been problem for a number of years however this year the growth has been significantly greater and the amount of spread and threat of spread much more significant. it will become too much for the livestock keeper/farmer to keep on top of if no action is taken.
