Overgrown vegetation along both sides of dual carriageway

Overgrown weeds on both sides of the carriageway would make it difficult for someone to make it over the crash barrier to safety if they had to stop in an emergency. Dirt/vegetation is also spreading into the road which is a slip hazard in wet weather.

We appreciate you taking the time to notify us about the overgrown vegetation at this location, and we’re sorry that on this occasion the time frames to cut back the vegetation is taking longer than we would’ve liked.
Please bear with us whilst our maintenance teams look to conduct our vegetation maintenance programme within the wider area, and we hope to resolve these issues as soon as it’s possible.
We’ll also continue to monitor the situation during our weekly inspections, and we’ll raise additional remedial work if any safety issues are identified.
