Uneven/cracked surface

Reported via mobile in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 08:53, Saturday 3 August 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6310437.

The Wix bypass road used to get in and out of Harwich needs repairing. It’s not just a case of making it a smoother journey it should be made a safer journey. There are uneven surfaces, cracked surfaces, raised foundations that I saw made something come loose under someone’s car In front of me once they went over it. It’s damaging cars. The Wix bypass road surfacing plans keep being pushed back now it’s saying 2027-2028 roads shouldn’t be damaging people car’s. People use that road back and forth on a daily basis each journey over time is putting more strain on residents cars and creating damage that is expensive to get fixed. Please can more be done to fix these issues on this road.
