Footpaths are overgrown

Reported via mobile in the Overgrown or obscuring view (NH) category anonymously at 12:40, Wed 31 July 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6298268.

Hello,

The verges on the A26 are growing onto the pathway, would it be possible to get it cut back please? I walk along here a few times a week and I have a relative that uses a mobility scooter who is finding it difficult to access Newhaven from Tarring Neville for her shopping and doctors appointments. Also, the weeds on the ground are making the pathway much more narrow than it used to be. We would appreciate the pathway being cleared please.

I have attached pictures taken today, the problem is between Three Ponds Holiday Park and Paradise Park, Newhaven, just past the A26/Avis Road junction.
