Lights haven’t worked for years, there’s been some kind of recent repair and now half are on all the time.

Reported via desktop in the Continually On (NH) category anonymously at 11:21, Tuesday 30 July 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6293096.

I’m unsure what the issue is here but I’ve reported the failure of the street lights pre Covid between porthill and the Talke exit (a34) whereby a large volume of lights have not worked for about 4 years endless times. There’s been some recent work which appears to re activated about half of the lights now but they are on 24hrs. The other half still don’t work. You may be aware or not. Is is going to take a fatality before these are sorted. I’m reporting this again as noted there road closures for resurfacing in aug in the same area. I’ve been away from the uk for a week so may have been fixed which will be great.
