Lots of signage left behind

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6285979.

Your contractors Highways Assurance have left road closure and diversion signs at this location following completion of works 376945 on the 27th July.

It is massively unacceptable the amount of redundant equipment that is left everywhere, you need to be doing so much more to prevent this nationwide issue.

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways regarding the redundant traffic management equipment on the A47 at Wisbech.

    We will arrange for one of our local inspectors to investigate this. Where we have identified redundant equipment, this will be removed.

    Please Note. Work by Openreach including a diversion using the A47 will be in place until 8 August 2024.
