Removal of ragwort under the Ragwort control act 2003

There is a tremendous amount of ragwort on the slip roads around junction 12 of the M42.this should have been controlled under The Ragwort Control Act 2003 where councils are responsible for keep this destructive weed under control. This code clarifies that the control of common ragwort on the roadside, including verges is the responsibility of the Local Highways Authority. All landowners and occupiers have the legal obligation to prevent the spread of ragwort, control ragwort and dispose of ragwort safely under the Weeds Act 1959.
