Overgrown Vegatstion A2070 and Park Farm Roundabout

There are a number of Vegetation is now overgrown and again causing Safety Issues to drivers. a).A2070 Park Farm Roundabout is now so heavily dence that cars appear too fast around roundabout as approaching drivers view is obscured. Needs urgently cutting back. This has been been CONTINUOUSLY reported and CONTINUOUSLY ignored (Bridgefield Roundabout has been cut back and is now a lot safer for approaching traffic). b).A2070 approaching the Roundabout into Ashford the left hand lane 1 is narrowed by the over grown verge. c). A2070 Going away from Park Farm roundabout local signs and speed limits signs bow obscured by overgrown verges. d). A2070 The Central reservation approaching the roundabout towards Ashford and M20 is now obscured and overgrown limiting drivers views to on coming traffic. Sections of this Duel carriageway are 70mph zones and approach roads are 50mph so traffic appears quickly.

We appreciate you taking the time to notify us about the overgrown vegetation on the at this location, and we’re sorry that on this occasion the time frames to cut back the vegetation is taking longer than we would’ve liked. We’re currently behind with our vegetation maintenance work in the area and apologise for any inconvenience or frustration this may cause you and the community. Our inspector is in the process of prioritising areas that require additional urgent remedial work whilst our maintenance teams look to catch up with the vegetation maintenance works within the wider area. We will continue to monitor the situation and hope to resolve these issues soon.
