Footpath narrowed by encroaching vegetation

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6279222.

The footpath has been narrowed significantly by encroaching vegetation all the way from Foots Hill to the Park Wall junction. It needs to be cleared regularly so that the path maintains the required width to be navigated safely. Encroaching vegetation and debris both at thigh level and ground level. Please clear and out on a rota for clearance. Thank you

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways concerning overgrown vegetation.

    We carry out regular inspections of all our routes and cut the vegetation back where we find that it is limiting visibility of road signs or other traffic. Your concerns have been passed to our maintenance team. They’ll inspect the area shortly and, if necessary, arrange for vegetation to be cut.
