Weeds on footpath and debris from last bridge accident

This morning as I walked to and from work can I just bring to the councils attention the state of the causeway between the 2 railway bridges on the A36 apart from the over grown weeds blocking the path there is also remnants of the latest bridge hit and looks a mess

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways concerning overgrown vegetation and debris.

    We carry out regular inspections of all our routes and cut the vegetation back where we find that it is limiting visibility of road signs or other traffic. Your concerns have been passed to our maintenance team. They’ll inspect the area shortly and, if necessary, arrange for vegetation to be cut and debris removed.
