The slip road is too short

Reported via desktop in the Structures (eg bridges, fencing, noise barriers) (NH) category anonymously at 18:35, Tue 16 July 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6237827.

The exit lane for turning across the A27 and onto Nyton Road is far too short. During peak hours the cars back up out of the exit lane and into the outside lane, meaning other cars have to take evasive action, or queue in the outside lane to get onto the exit lane. This is incredibly dangerous and a collision waiting to happen, especially given the close proximity of the next left turn. Please could the slip road be at least doubled in length asap.
