Ragwort infestation

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6228158.

The roundabout at the junction of the A36 and A350 is covered in ragwort. The verges on the A36 westbound to the junction with the A362 and that roundabout also are badly infested with ragwort that is in flower and about to scatter seeds into the neighbouring paddocks. It needs eliminating as soon as possible. Thank you.

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways concerning overgrown vegetation/ragwort.

    We carry out regular inspections of all our routes and cut the vegetation back where we find that it is limiting visibility of road signs or other traffic. Your concerns have been passed to our maintenance team. They’ll inspect the area and, if necessary, arrange for the vegetation/ragwort to be cut.
