Blocked gully’s and drain covers

Reported via mobile in the Flooding/drainage (NH) category anonymously at 15:31, Sunday 14 July 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6227996.

Gully’s and drain grates are blocked by debris and decaying animals that are at the side of the road These gully’s are designed to take a lot of water to prevent the road flooding but there’s little chance of that as they are blocked on both sides of the dual carriageway. Prevention is better than trying to resolve the issue when it’s happening.

The catch pit at the north end of the north bound carriageway is blocked and there is standing water. It needs jetting and the catch pit clearing
