Pedestrian traffic lights not working

Reported via desktop in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 17:50, Thu 11 July 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6219308.

The traffic lights on roadside towards Arundel are not working which makes it difficult for pedestrians to cross the busy A27. I noticed the fault on Saturday 6th July. Both sets of lights were not working for many months not so long ago.

  • Thank you for making your report. This has been passed onto our technology team responsible for maintaining pedestrian crossings to investigate and assess the issue.

If any work is needed, they will arrange for this to happen.

Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.
