Sign in the way for tractors trying to cross the A1

Reported via mobile in the Sign Obscured (NH) category anonymously at 10:14, Thursday 11 July 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6216980.

Situation - If a car was heading south on the A1, it would see the Warren Mill sign at the junction. This sign for tractors trying to cross the A1 from the east to the west is right in the eye line and can be very dangerous to try and cross, especially when tractors can be carrying implements on the front end. Tractors don't have the acceleration that cars do so therefore in busy time it can prove very difficult and dangerous to cross the road up to 10 times a day.
