Missing

Reported via mobile in the Damage to Sign (NH) category anonymously at 10:10, Thu 11 July 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6216929.

The main green sign at the bottom of Highgate Hill westbound was damaged before COVID. A temporary one was installed but frequently blew over. That has now been removed completely and there is no sign at all only the brown tourist information sign. Thee is nothing to indicate the A 3058 with directions to St Austell and Newquay

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways concerning a green sign.

We carried out a network review last week on the A30 and didn't identify any missing signs at Highgate Hill.

We're aware that the permanent Advance Direction Sign on the westbound approach to Summercourt (West of Highgate Hill) is missing. If this is the sign the you're referring to, we can confirm that the permanent replacement is currently undergoing the feasibility design stage this year and programmed for detailed design within the next financial year.

If you require any further information, please contact our Customer Contact Centre on 0300 123 5000 or info@nationalhighways.co.uk.

    Kind regards

    National Highways
