Large Section of top layer has been removed

Reported via desktop in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 17:52, Wed 10 July 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6215009.

Along this section of the A14 Eastbound, there are a number of areas where it appears the top layer of tarmac has come away leaving a flat layer below it. The edges are approx 4cm deep. I have driven over a large area greater than 1 square metre and it has cut my tyre. Cars are actively swirving to avoid hitting the large areas.
