Been off for years

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6204806.

The traffic and queues especially round rush hours is in my opinion dangerous. This could be solved by switching the traffic lights back on. Vehicles are stationary around the roundabout with other vehicles coming off the motorway and attempting to weave around traffic.

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways. The traffic signals were switched off as we found the roundabout was not to electrical standards.

    The decision has been made to assess the performance of the junction when the new Windy Harbour/Skippool relief road has been open for 12 months. This will provide more accurate data to determine the benefits of keeping or removing the signals at M55 junction 3.
