Cars going through red lights on the pedestrian crossing

Reported via mobile in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 13:02, Mon 8 July 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6203842.

4 cars went through a red light today as I was trying to cross at the pedestrian crossing. I use this crossing regularly and this is a common occurrence. I am aware of the danger but fear that someone will be killed as the traffic travels at high speed onto this slip road The syncopation of the lights need changing so that all cars are stationary whilst pedestrians are crossing Please deal with this urgently as I fear a child will be killed. The crossing is on the slip road onto the motorway in the direction of Eccles/Leeds
