Cycle path between Paxton Rd and A1 is very overgrown.

Reported via mobile in the Pavement/footpath issue (NH) category anonymously at 16:02, Friday 5 July 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6195768.

The cycle path between the old Paxton Rd and A1 is now almost impassable because the hedgerow is so overgrown. It's a busy and well used path - it's the main safe cycle route in and out of Berwick used by both locals and visitors. It's been getting worse over the last few weeks but there seems to have been a big growth spurt of the huge nettles and hedgerows making it quite dangerous now. Please could the cuttings be swept up to avoid multiple punctures! Many thanks
