A36/ Hantone Hill junction ( Bath)

Reported via mobile in the Overgrown or obscuring view (NH) category anonymously at 15:27, Tue 2 July 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6182468.

Pulling out of Hantone Hill- Bath - onto the main Road A36 with fast approaching cars, is unsafe. Despite me reporting this annually and being promised it wont happen again, IT DOES happen every year, even when it is cut back, it is never done properly which leads to the same safety issue with residence not being able to see the fast cars on the A36 . Why not cut it back an extra meter to stop this constantly happening? And the same complaint every year.

  • Thank you for making your report. We've asked our inspection team to attend this location and assess the issue.

If any work is needed, they'll arrange for this to happen. Should no immediate work be required we'll continue to monitor this during our regular inspections.

Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.
