Arrows on road are not visible and even when they are, motorists ignore them and drive round on the inside when they should be going to Melton Road instead of going round to the Flawforth Lane junction.

Reported via desktop in the Faded / Hard to see (NH) category anonymously at 04:01, Tuesday 2 July 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6179483.

Arrows on road are no longer visible and even if they are, motorists seem to ignore them. They approach the roundabout coming out of town on Melton Road A606 on the inside lane which is signed by the road arrows as A606 Melton Road. Instead, they carry on going round on the inside lane to exit on Flawforth Lane. Dangerous flow as you do not expect a car to be on the inside lane going round with you. I reported this before but no corrective action has been implemented so far. The road signs need to say "A606 ONLY". An accident waiting to happen if not many have taken place already. Your Improvement scheme is far too slow as nothing has started as yet and corrective action is needed now to avoid potential accidents.
