Overgrown hedges onto paths and cycle route

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown or obscuring view (NH) category anonymously at 18:19, Sun 30 June 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6173574.

Route 136 in Rainham, Essex, between Ferry Lane and Coldharbour Lane towards the Thames has become seriously overgrown again. I am constantly being whipped by brambles and other shrubs and lots of the brambles are coming out at eye level when on a bike and if not careful will cause serious injury to someone. Please can this be cut back so that not just cyclist but pedestrians walking their dogs can enjoy this route safely. Also further on along the Rainham Marshes path, going from just after the security hut where you can get on the path by the width restriction and up the path a bit (towards Purfleet),also route 136 and route 13, this is seriously overgrown
