A lime tree just to the west of Charmandean Lane, near to the pedestrian crossing has basal growth which is obscuring the view of oncoming traffic

It is difficult to be sure when it is safe to cross, due to the extensive basal growth.

Our team visited this location on 5 July 2024 to assess the area, and I can confirm a job has been raised to cut back the basal growth to clear both the sightline for the crossing and adjacent footway.
