Overgrown national cycle route

The national cycle route no12 which runs adjacent to the A1M as between Yards End Lane and the norman cross roundabout is exceptionally overgrown with the route reduced to less than 1/4 of its width in some places. For most of the route is is difficult for a cycllist and walker to pass each other. I understand that Natiinal Higwhays owns this part of the national cycle route and is therefore responsible for its maintenance.
