Electronic signs showing different limits.

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6154458.

24/6/2024 04:55am Multiple inconsistent variable speed limits shown. Slip road variable limit sign at M6 J2 northbound showing 50mph while all motorway (M6 n/b) gantry signs showing 60mph. Slip road onto M6 n/b from Corley services showing 50mph all gantry signs showing 60mph Gantry sign lane 2 of M6 n/b to M42 still showing 40mph, this has been like it for weeks causing dangerous conditions when people brake suddenly to comply. Additionally at time and date, entire M6 n/b from J1 to J4 set at 60mph for no reason. No debris, accident, obstruction, animals etc. Low volume of traffic but 60mph limit hindering everyone’s early morning commute.
