Road surface defect causing extreme noise and vibration

Reported via desktop in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 15:00, Tuesday 25 June 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6153145.

HGV traffic in this area is ‘hitting’ something at this point to cause extreme noise and vibrations to the properties either side of the road. A HGV suffered a blow out approx 6-8 weeks ago which residents thought was an explosion and Police had to close the road to recover debris from the incident. This has been going on for about 1 year and is getting noticeably worse.
