Sequencing of traffic signals faulty causing potential accidents

Reported via mobile in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 23:42, Mon 24 June 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6149826.

The sequencing of traffic signals at the dockspur roundabout is out of sync since 24 June. Causing unexpected sudden blockages, near-collisions between cars and HGVs. Please attend to inspect and rectify before there is a serious accident.

Updates

  • The sequencing at these lights is still causing problems and I have just driven through to see cars at a red light trying to go onto the A14, blocking second lane of dual carriageway as you leave the roundabout to head towards the dock. I have informed the police because I am very concenred that there will be a serious accident soon if this is not corrected ( please see above)
