Growth has severely limited visibility on this entire junction

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown or obscuring view (NH) category by Jonathan Walsh at 07:48, Monday 24 June 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6144643.

I use this junction as both a driver and a pedestrian crossing from Appleton to Stretton. The vegetation has grown extensively to the point it is now overhanging the road (barriers are completely invisible). This has reduced sight lines for all drivers entering the junction and made crossing as a pedestrian much more dangerous. There is a particular issue on the crossings walking from the A49 to the A559 where pedestrian visibility is reduced to about 5m before you actually step into the road to look. Thanks.
