Vegetation growing over path

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown or obscuring view (NH) category anonymously at 10:18, Thursday 20 June 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6131600.

Resident has reported that vegetation is growing over the path on Ermington Road pushing pedestrians into the road. I reported this to Devon Highways who advised: Although Devon County Council is responsible for the footway area, responsibility for the adjacent hedge line and vegetation falls to National Highways (Highways England). They own and maintain the adjacent land and are ultimately accountable for any vegetative encroachment
