Traffic Lights Not Working

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6128999.

Half of the bank of traffic lights around the island at M42 Junction 9 have not been working for over 2 days now. This is going to cause an accident, I have seen several near misses, as it is next to impossible to cross 4 lanes of constant flowing traffic without cutting someone up. This should be a priority for you! You need to fix them ASAP before there is a serious accident.

  • Near miss again this morning, no lights. Bloody nightmare. HGV had to break, hard so I could cross the 4 lanes, coming from Kingsbury, absolute joke, no lights all week, how long does it take to repair?

  • Near miss again today, this is the 4th time it’s happened to me since these lights stopped working! Completely unacceptable

  • Emailed info@nationalhighways.co.uk to complain about the lack of safety measures that have been put into place while the lights continue to be out of action.
