Sign on m3 says a34 is closed after m3 electronic

15/6/24 Why is the sign on m27 near Rownhams indicating a34 closed after m3? I cannot find any info on your website to verify this. Is the sign correct? It has been saying road closed for a few days now I think it has been left on in error. Please could you check your signs

    Thank you for your message regarding the sign on the M27 near Rownhams indicating that the A34 is closed after the M3.

    The sign is correct. There will be carriageway closures for resurfacing work on the A34 in both directions from M3 Junction 9 to Three Maids Hill. This will start from 17 June 2024 and end on 29 June 2024. The works will begin each evening from 8pm to 6am the following day, with the road reopening at 6am.

  • Please could you update the electronic sign on m3 near Rownhams it should indicate that a34 closures are NIGHTTIME it would stop any confusion
