Overgrown vegetation restricting visibility

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown or obscuring view (NH) category anonymously at 10:53, Saturday 15 June 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6110735.

At this location (A31/Dullar Lane crossroads) the verges on both the A31 in both directions and Dullar Lane are extremely overgrown which is reducing visibility significantly. This is a very dangerous junction at the best of times (there have been a number of accidents here over the years) so this needs to be dealt with as soon as possible as it has become dangerous to cross or join the A31 at this location.

I reported this on 8th June; since then the verges appear to have been trimmed at the actual crossroads but this has not solved the problem as visibility is still restricted. Crossing Dullar Lane it is still not possible to look both ways down the A31 to check for approaching traffic. Please trim the verges/hedges adequately along the A31 in both directions to solve this problem which is making this junction unsafe.
