Badly overgrown vegatation covering cycle path alongside A38,between A50 junction and Burton Derby Road

Reported via mobile in the Pavement/footpath/cycleway/bridleway issue (NH) category anonymously at 13:16, Thu 13 June 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6103678.

Unable to safely use the cycle path between A50 junction and Burton Derby Road, due to overgrown grass, nettles, thistles & trees. In some sections the cycle path is hardly visible, due to this overgrown vegetation. This week I have received scratches and nettle stings to my legs and scratches to my bike. In some area I have to dismount, to prevent injury or damage to my bike. The section between Littleover junction and A50 is also becoming an issue as well.
