Lane closed?

The left lane has been closed for a few weeks now, it is coned off but there’s no information or apparent reasoning for this and there’s never any workers or work being done on this. Just wondering why it is closed and how long for? As this causes significant delays on my commute and it doesn’t seem like it’s closed for any reason.
