Large dip in road
Reported via desktop in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 12:52, Tue 11 June 2024
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6093183.
Last year, a large section in the middle lans of this flyover southbound collapsed causing a lot of damage to many cars. It was filled quickly though with concrete but it is far from flat. It needs resurfacing to remove the large dip in the road when driving over it please.

Originally this repair was slightly raised, however it now appears to be sinking.

I was going to report this too, over the past week I've noticed the dip in the repaired patch seems to be getting noticeably deeper. I'm concerned it's going to collapse again quite soon.

This dip on the southbound M3 is now very deep in the middle lane. It appears to have a sharp, raised lip on the far (southwestern) side as you exit the dip. It was a pretty massive impact at 70mph, my car now feels weird as if suspension components have failed. In the moment, it completely destabilised the car too: I worry about the risk of serious accident if that happens with fast traffic in proximity.

This dip in the West bound center lane has caught me out as it is out of sight until you're just about on it & no time to safely change lanes to avoid. Unfortunately my car now has suspension damage. It is a very hard impact at 70 mph.

I almost crashed going over this dip on the 11th of September. This needs urgent attention, the dip in the middle lane is so deep that it fully extended my suspension at 70mph.

On the 14th of December I hit a massive dip in the road in the evening , I had no chance of seeing it. I was going about 65mph ,Luckily I wasn't changing lanes when I hit it otherwise I'd have probably crashed. It was a loud and heavy impact, either my suspension fully bottomed out or the underside of my car hit the road. This road needs fixing.
