Giant hogweed

Reported via mobile in the Pavement/footpath issue (NH) category anonymously at 16:58, Saturday 8 June 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6081907.

There are giant hogweed (invasive plant) growing next to the northbound off slip, on the right. They are the size of trees, you can't miss them. I saw one last year but was unable to confirm it as a giant one as it was too far from the road and I would only have a couple of seconds. These are so large that I am now fairly certain.

  • I (OP) passed the Junction again this weekend, this time I drove north further up the M6 and noticed that there are giant hogweed in the northbound verge for about 1 mile, 10s, possibly over 100 of them, its quite serious.
