All SOX lighting on slip roads not functional

Hello, I am interested in street lighting and would like to notify you that all non-LED street lights on the slip roads at J10 don't work. They most likely just require a new bulb. I know its not up to me but I hope you fix them and not replace them to LED. Thanks and I hope this was some use.

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways about the streetlights.

    We have switched lighting off on this stretch of road to support the Department of Transport’s aim to reduce carbon emissions. These roads have been carefully chosen with all road users safety considered.

    We are still using road lighting where it is needed, however, we are confident that we can use less of it without a significant impact on safety. We will continue to monitor this and may restore the lighting if the situation changes.
