Potential high risk entrance and no road splays

Reported via desktop in the Faded / Hard to see (NH) category anonymously at 14:28, Thursday 6 June 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6072967.

A planning application has been recommended for approval for a development from a field gate access directly onto the A52. The applicant has already been removed from the site due to possession issues but if the application gets approval we are extremely concerned with vehicles accessing and exiting directly onto this extremely busy A road. The application states another splay must be installed but we know this will never be done due to cost implications. This is a very dangerous section of the A52 and any approval for multiple vehicle access and exit is very dangerous.
