Long standing deep puddle on cycle path

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6067707.

There is a deep ongoing 25ft long puddle on the cycle path meaning that I have to take shoes off and wade through itcarrying my bike. It has been like this for weeks.

  • Thank you for your report about the condition of the cycle path.

    We're aware of this and remedial works to address have been carried.

    In the short term to remedy the continuing issue an order has been raised for pumping and sweeping to be carried out within 24 hours.

    The pump will remain in situ and the path monitored until 24 June when we be carrying thorough drainage works to fully address.
