Large potholes

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6063966.

There is a number of large pot holes on the bridge section of the road Reported to the council who say the bridge section belongs to highways England and need to report to you

  • Thank you for making your report regarding the road surface condition on Half Moon Lane. Our inspection team have attended this location and have assessed the issue. National Highways are responsible for the overall structure of the bridge, however the poor road surface is not structural and therefore is the responsibility of the local authority.

    I am sorry that you have been misdirected however the local authority may have been under the impression that it was a structural failure.

    Please contact the local authority to resolve this problem.
