The road surface is damaged and requires resurfacing

Safety Hazards: there are potholes, cracks, and uneven surfaces which pose significant safety risks for drivers. They can cause damage to vehicles, lead to loss of control, or result in accidents and injuries. Vehicle Damage: Driving over potholes and surface defects can cause damage to tyres, wheels, suspension systems, and other vehicle components, resulting in costly repairs for motorists. infrastructure Degradation: The neglected surface is defective and will lead to further deterioration of the underlying road structure, requiring more extensive and costly repairs or reconstruction in the future. Economic Impacts: due to poor road conditions can increase vehicle operating costs, lead to delays and congestion, and negatively impact local businesses and economic activities.

  • Don't think the marker is in the right place - the problem is the surface on the bend adjacent to the filling station between their entrance and the exit shared with McNasty's. Patch repairs have been done but they break up very quickly making the surface dangerous for motorcyclists and leading to car drivers swerving round the damage towards oncoming traffic. The only solution is to properly resurface this piece of road.
