Rutted surface on exit slip

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6055875.

The exit slip from the BP/Restaurant complex is short, narrow, narrow and rutted this is in contrast to the entry slip which is long, wide and in good repair. Not sure if it is Highways or Private but as it is on a downhill section of the A1 traffic is naturally travelling fast. Today I cautioned two Dutch caravanners as they would be unaware of the poor exit after experiencing the excellent entry slip.

    Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.
