Traffic Work Lights just abandoned

Traffic Work Lights abandoned with NO workers at 3 time points between 0700-1330hrs

Have been travelling several times up and down this road at peak and non peak times and there are NO workers present or on the land adjacent to the said work.

The traffic this am at 0735 was stacked almost back to Muston, for lights with no workers. The no of HGVs was huge not to mention another incident involving a mini involved in a front ended crash.

A normal 20minute journey even with planning took 1hr15 this am due to NO WORKERS

Please be aware that very important ALevels and GCSEs are being taken and these lights have been placed on the first day back after halfterm after 6 months of works at A1 Southbound junction.

I appreciate works have to be done but timings could be much more considered with WORKMEN present.

Maybe work could be done to avoid the main commuter times and maybe even night-time like they do in other European Countries.
