Very poor Road Surface From Sliproad Start Lane Opens up to End of Duel its Goes Very Load and theres lots of weird bits tared and very ueven to it hurts my ears so please and tehre is lots of poor road resufacing and lots of cracks in the road so please resuface it sliproad doesnt need surfaced just the 3 lanes up to end of duel,

  • Thank you for your report of 2 June 2024 to advise of poor road surface on the A1 towards A697. We appreciate the time you've taken to report this. We've asked our inspection team to attend this location and assess the issue. If any work is needed, they'll arrange for this to happen. Should no immediate work be required we'll continue to monitor this during our regular inspections. We've already placed uneven surface boards out to warn drivers of the problems you've advised.

    Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.
