Residents concerned about noise/ acoustic fence

Residents are complaining to me about inadequate/ lacking acoustic fencing between the motorway and Martel Close, Camberley, GU15 1QS.

    We understand the impact noise from our road network has upon the people living close to it.

    Within noise important area’s actions to reduce the impact of noise are called ‘mitigation measures’. Mitigation can be provided through noise barriers and noise insulation and low noise resurfacing.

    This location is within a Noise Important Area, but is shown to already have been mitigated by resurfacing. As such there are currently no plans to add new/improve the noise barriers in this location.
