Flooding

Reported via desktop in the Flooding/drainage (NH) category by Rebecca Reynolds at 15:58, Friday 31 May 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6045140.

The flooding across NCN20, a National Cycle Network route, is getting worse. It was reported many weeks ago. We need to see a solution to this problem which extends right across the walking/wheeling/cycle path and the deeper bordering ditch. It's no use to simply mark problems with cones and signs and leave them unfixed.

Updates

  • A while ago it was pumped out. Now vegetation has been chopped right back and the drainage ditch cleared of earth, branches etc. We're hoping this prevents any recurrence of flooding.

    State changed to: Fixed
