Bollards remain missing

Reported via desktop in the Pavement/footpath/cycleway/bridleway issue (NH) category anonymously at 14:06, Fri 31 May 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6044577.

The bollards have not yet been replaced (within the promised timescale) and serious trip hazards remain on a well-trodden footpath.

Updates

  • Thank you for your report of 31 May 2024 about the bollard replacement expected in this area. We understand your concerns and appreciate the time you've taken to contact us about this.

We've investigated your enquiry and can advise that discussions are taking place with Hull Council to carry out these works. It requires a gap in our works programme, which is also approved by the local council. This is because traffic management and roadspace is needed to ensure the safety of workers.

We're grateful for your patience while we continue these discussions. We're hopeful replacing these bollards will be carried out at the nearest available opportunity.

    Kind regards, National Highways
