Very thick and high vegetation

Reported via mobile in the Overgrown or obscuring view (NH) category anonymously at 15:51, Thursday 30 May 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6040247.

This area is continually ignored by Highways for mowing, The vegetation is over 6 ft high and obstructs the view of both drivers coming into the village and pedestrians trying to cross here. The roundabout edge was cut last week so it is puzzling why an area causing dangerous obstruction of visibility is not being attended to.

Updates

  • I have just crossed the road from the Travel Lodge to Blackhorse Drive and was nearly knocked down by a car coming around the Old Stratford roundabout from a5d. The vegetation is totally overgrown so I couldn't see the car and the driver wouldn't have been able to see me. It all needs cutting back before an accident occurs.
