40 mph, cones left, laybys closed, no workers

Reported via desktop in the Abandoned Materials (NH) category anonymously at 08:57, Wed 29 May 2024

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6032825.

For weeks now there have been no workers and no work done on the A46 between Six Hills and Widmerpool, yet laybys are still closed, still cones and 40mph speed limit yet sign stating work will start in September 2024 til Summer 2025 - why is this section still on a 40mph with cones etc when there are no roadworks?
